JUST BETWEEN US: ETHICALLY PROTECTING YOUR CLIENT'S CONFIDENTIAL DATA
Confidentiality of client communications, information and data are the heart of the attorney-client relationship. Understanding how to protect client information and keep client data confidential is especially important in a hyper-interconnected electronic law office and essential to law practice. Within a framework of cybersecurity standards for small employers and rules of professional responsibility, the presenters will identify ways to protect clients’ data using technology, policies and training, initiate secure computing out of the office to satisfy confidentiality rules, and incorporate two-factor authentication, encryption, strong passwords and password management into office protocols to defend against attacks and comply with the Rules of Professional Conduct.
This webinar is approved for ONE ETHICS CREDIT HOUR by the Pennsylvania CLE Board. PACDL is an accredited distance learning provider in Pennsylvania.
