CHALLENGING POLICE CREDIBILITY AND MISCONDUCT

Date(s): August 26, 2020

Time: 12:00 PM  EST - 1:00 PM  EST

CHALLENGING POLICE CREDIBILITY AND MISCONDUCT

George Floyd’s death has heightened calls and questions about police policies and practices including use of force. This webinar will begin with the basics of data mining police department information – what information is available, how do you find it, what discovery requests to make to ensure all relevant data is produced, and how you can support the request for discovery before the court.  Finally, the seminar will use examples to discuss relevant reports, policies and practices to help identify the errors, deviations, omissions, and where the police may have manipulated the system to gain an advantage.

This webinar is approved for one substantive, practice and procedure credit hour by the Pennsylvania CLE Board. PACDL is an accredited distance learning provider in Pennsylvania.
