BUZZED OR AUTO BREWERY SYNDROME: A NOVEL HEALTH ISSUE AND A NEW DEFENSE

Auto Brewery Syndrome (ABS) is a rare medical condition that includes symptoms of dizziness, disorientation, nausea and concentration problems. ABS can result in extremely high alcohol levels that can mirror intoxication and may be present if your client is denying alcohol consumption. This webinar will provide an overview of the causes and recent legal cases. Additionally, it will focus on pathways to introduce evidence of this medical condition into trial and the right expert to engage to support success. While this type of case may not frequently land on your desk, this webinar will give you a baseline primer so you identify this issue in your cases.

This webinar is approved for one substantive law, practice and procedure credit hour by the Pennsylvania CLE Board. PACDL is an accredited distance learning provider in Pennsylvania.

Instructor: Deandra M. Grant of Hamilton Grant Law Offices, Texas
