March to Now: Addressing Day-to-Day Psychological Challenges in the COVID-19 World

This course is not for CLE credit.

The fatigue of this year’s change is undeniable, and Dr. Elliot Atkins and Dr. Thomas Haworth are here to assist.   As we near the end of 2020, we reflect on how far we, as criminal defense lawyers, have come from the first day of quarantine. The difference between how we started our new normal in March and progressed through intermittent court openings, remote and hybrid school learning, and new ways of practicing law proves just how adaptable we are. Although the trauma of the onset of the pandemic may have subsided, new issues continuously arise.

So now that we are 8 months into this, what is psychologically going on? How are we doing, as both professionals and people? Join PACDL’s continued Mental Health Series presented by the NexGen Committee to find out on December 8, 2020 at 4 pm, free to all members, and co-presented by Dr. Atkins and Dr. Haworth.  This interactive forum will address the current state of our psychological affairs and help us develop new tools to succeed.

In an effort to ensure we are addressing the needs of the group, please confidentially complete this Survey Monkey questionnaire before December 1:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Z565XLP.  Thank you.

This webinar will be recorded.
