Membership

Q: I am interested in membership. Where can I learn more?

Member Portal

Q: I am a current member. How do I access my account?
A: If you know your username and password please click here to login.

If you do NOT know your username and password you can retrieve that information by 
clicking here. Please click on "Forgot Password."  Then a new window pops up that says "Retrieve Username and Password."  Enter your email address that was used to sign up for your account in the box provided, click the box that says "I'm Not a Robot," and then click on the "Retrieve Username and Password" button.  You will receive an email that includes your temporary password.  Please use the temporary password to log-in and set a permanent userid and password for your PACDL account.

Q: How do I update my profile?
A: Once logged in, in order to update your profile, click on "My Profile" in the member portal menu on the right-hand side. Review your information, make changes as necessary, and click on the "Save Changes" button to update your profile. Please note: All "required" fields must be filled out prior to updating your profile otherwise changes will not be saved. 
Updating your profile does not result in it being published on PACDL's member directory, see the next question for publishing your profile to the PACDL online member directory. 

Q. How do I add my profile to the PACDL online member directory?
A: In order to add your member profile to appear in PACDL's online member directory, please use the following steps:

  • Login to your member account
  • Locate in the right-hand menu the Section Titled Account Details, scan down to the next line and click on "My Directory Options." 
  • A new window appears where you can choose your practice expertise from a variety of categories.  Please select at least one category, but no more than ten categories from the "Directory Categories" section.
  • Please Note: In order for your profile to appear in the online member directory a directory category must be selected and saved.
  • Move down the page to the "Directory Display Options" section, click to select each information field that you want displayed to the PACDL online member directory.
  • Click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page when finished,
Q: How can I renew my membership online?
A: Once logged in, you may renew your membership with PACDL by selecting "Membership Renewal" in the member portal menu. To pay for membership dues by credit card, select "Register & Pay Online".

Username & Password Assistance

Q: I do not know my username and password, what do I do?
A: If you are a current member of PACDL you can retrieve your username and a temporary password via email by clicking here. nA separate window pops up, click on "Forgot Password."  Then a new window pops up that says "Retriegve Username and Passowrd" at which time you enter your email address in the box, click the box that says "I'm Not a Robot," and then click on the button "Retrieve Username and Passowrd."  You will receive a temporary password to the email address that was used to sign up for your account.  Please use the temporary password to log-in and set your permanent userid and password for your PACDL member account.

Q: What are my steps if I don't know the email address that was used to sign up for my account?
A: If you attempt to retrieve your credentials and your email does not match what PACDL has on file, please contact the PACDL office by calling 717.234.7403.  We can inform you of the email that we have on nfile or we can put anew email so you can create your userid and password.

Q: I received an email containing my username and a temporary password, what next?
A: Please proceed to the login page and type in your username and temporary password.You will be taken to a page where you can update your record and set your password and userid to ones that you prefer.

Q: What should I do if I am having trouble accessing my account with the username and temporary password that was sent to me?
A: We recommend that you type the username and password that was provided via email. If you copy and paste the selection into the username and password fields, sometimes you are copying and pasting an extra "space" which the system will not recognize. 

Q: I pressed the "Retrieve Username and Password" button more than once, will I get more than one email? 
A: You can retrieve your username and a temporary password as many times as you wish but the system will send you additional emails. Note that the most recent email you've received will contain the temporary password that will allow you to access your account. 


Event Registration

Q: How do I register for an event?
A: Click here to log in to your profile. Next, visit the Bookmark section on the right-hand side of your Profile page and click Events & Registrations. This will take you to the Event Calendar. Click on the event for more details and to complete your registration.
